School Uniform and Equity Commitment
At Sunshine Charter School, students will wear a full school uniform featuring the official school monogram, along with school-branded backpacks. The uniform policy is designed to promote equity, safety, and a strong sense of belonging, while creating a unified and respectful school environment.
The school will design and provide standardized uniform options to ensure consistency, comfort, and alignment with the school’s identity, mission, and values.
While families are responsible for covering the production cost of uniforms, Sunshine Charter School is fully committed to ensuring that no student is excluded due to financial hardship. To support equitable access, the school will provide uniform assistance and scholarships for families in need. Students from qualifying families will receive required uniform items at no cost.
All support will be provided confidentially and respectfully, ensuring that every student can participate fully without stigma or barriers.
Uniform expectations and guidelines are clearly outlined in the Family Handbook, including available options, procedures for assistance, and expectations for maintaining a neat and respectful appearance that reflects school pride and community values.
